Furthermore, our Alta X drone has been engineered to have an MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight) of 24.9 kg, allowing it to legally fly equipped with the heaviest cinema cameras and lenses on the market. It is particularly worth noting that we are pioneers, and that Airmedia360 was the first company in Spain to adapt its heavy fleet to fly under the most restrictive European scenarios of 2026.
Our capacity for resilience and adaptation goes further: thanks to our engineering department and in-house manufacturing workshop (equipped with CNC machinery and advanced 3D printing), we modify components and develop custom technology for the most unique shoots. A testament to this innovation, unique in Spain, is that we have even adapted our cinema drone and its stabilizer to fly 35mm analog cameras, such as the legendary ARRIFLEX 235, achieving organic and spectacular aerial shots that would be impossible to obtain by any other means.

The Freefly Alta X has an exceptional payload capacity that allows it to fly the heaviest cinema equipment on the market. It combines absolute flight stability with cinematic image quality, making it ideal for mounting systems such as ARRI or RED with large-format premium lenses.
Due to its size and massive payload capacity (heavy lift), the Alta X is designed to operate in controlled environments, open spaces, natural locations and large outdoor film sets. (By regulation it CANNOT be flown in cities; if your production needs to fly over an urban area or city, our fleet includes the DJI Inspire 3, adapted and certified for that purpose).
Our Alta X is compatible with the most demanding standard stabilizers, such as the DJI Ronin 2 or the Freefly MōVI Pro. Furthermore, thanks to our engineering department, we can manufacture custom parts to mount complex analog setups, such as the ARRIFLEX 235.
Yes. Although its size makes it the undisputed king of outdoor shoots and dynamic tracking shots, it can perfectly well be used on sets or in very large indoor spaces (such as industrial warehouses or stadiums), although in these cases we recommend our DJI Inspire 3; keep in mind that technical feasibility is always assessed beforehand by our team.
Yes. Our service is a “turnkey” solution that includes all the paperwork and management of flight permits. We have an in-house operations department that handles coordination with aviation authorities, so that all you have to worry about is the shoot.
Absolutely. The service includes a certified pilot, camera technician and assistant. It is a human crew backed by more than 3,500 flight hours and thousands of audiovisual productions, tasked with coordinating on set with the Director and the Director of Photography.
Yes. We carry out shoots anywhere in Spain, with strategic offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and Tenerife to facilitate logistics. We also cover international superproductions, having flown our equipment in numerous countries under the highest cinematographic standards.
